Delete your account
You can request deletion of your Harbour account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what to expect.
From inside the app
Open Harbour, go to Account → Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps. Deletion starts immediately once confirmed.
By email
If you no longer have access to the app, email hello@harbour-app.com from the address linked to your Harbour account. Use the subject line "Account deletion request". We'll verify your identity and process the request.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, username, avatar, email).
- Your messages, voice recordings, and attachments.
- Your contacts, chats, and conversation insights.
- Authentication credentials and session data.
What may be retained
We may retain a minimal amount of information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, records required by law or aggregated, de-identified usage data). Messages you sent to another person may remain in their copy of the conversation.
Timeline
Most data is removed from active systems within 30 days. Backups containing residual copies are rotated out within 90 days.
